This project includes construction of a concrete pathway with new street trees and multiple seating areas featuring benches along the east side of South Kalamazoo Avenue between Michigan Avenue and Pearl Street. .

Funding
The total estimated project cost is $650,000. $200,000 of the funding for this infrastructure comes from Michigan Shared Streets and Spaces Grant from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). The City anticipates funding the remaining balance through the Special Projects Fund and Major Streets Fund.
