Assistant Director of Electric Utilities

The City of Marshall is looking for an Assistant Director of Electric Utilities.  This position is responsible for the supervision of the electric Metering and Distribution Divisions, including the personnel required for these departments to function.  This is a decision-making position subject to frequent off hour call-ins.  Plans, organizes, and directs the activities and operation of the department.  Exercises judgment and sensitivity in the management and handling of electric service issues with customers.

The City of Marshall, Michigan is a quaint Norman Rockwell style community with a population of 7,068 in lower, central Michigan. Qualifications for the Assistant Director of Electric Utilities position include a degree in electrical engineering or a closely-related field, and a minimum of three to five years of experience working for an electric utility with supervisory or executive leadership responsibilities.  A State of Michigan licensed professional engineer desired.  Annual salary of $90,000 - $100,000 DOQ with excellent benefits.
