City of Marshall Utility Balance & Payment Option
There are two options of "direct payments" to the City of Marshall. One option is the direct payment Online. Click on the heading above titled "Marshall Utility Balance & Payment Option" to set up direct payment sent by you to the City of Marshall. You may set the date and the amount to be paid.
Note: If you are in jeopardy of having the utility service discontinued for past due charges, DO NOT use the on-line payment option!
The second option is to have Utility Bill payments deducted automatically each month from your checking account. For this service, please complete the “Automatic Bill Payment Enrollment Form” (available in the Utility Billing Documents and/or Reference Desk) and provide a voided check to the Finance Department. The utility payment will automatically be deducted from the appropriate account. Customers will continue to receive a monthly utility bill with the typical breakdown of charges with a special notation “Auto Deduct - Do Not Pay” as a reminder to not pay the bill manually. The total amount owed is deducted from the bank account up to four (4) days prior to the due date shown on the utility bill.
