How do I pay my Utility Bill?

HOW CAN I PAY MY UTILITY BILL

BY MAIL               Just mail the return envelope with postage along with your check and remittance advice to 323 W. Michigan Ave, Marshall MI 49068 (Please no cash).
DROP BOX           Just drop your payment in our drop box located in the northeast parking lot of Town Hall (Please no cash). Payments are processed the next business day.
IN PERSON          You may pay your utility bill in person in the Finance Department located on the 1st floor of Town Hall. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit/debit card.  Beginning July 1st, 2016, there will be a 3% service fee ($2.00 Minimum) for those customers wishing to make a payment for a service using a debit or credit card.
AUTO PAY           This option is to have utility bill payments automatically deducted from your saving or checking account one to two days prior to the due date on your bill. To enroll you just fill out an “Automatic Bill Payment Enrollment Form (available from the utility billing main page) and attach a voided check. The form can either be mailed in or brought into the Finance Department. Your automatic bill payment will start when your next utility bill is calculated. Customers will continue to receive a monthly utility bill with the typical breakdown of charges with a special notation “Auto Deduct – Do Not Pay” as a reminder to not pay the bill manually. The Finance Department urges all utility customers to use this option as it is the most efficient and is less costly. The automatic bill pay option may be stopped or canceled at any time prior to your next bill being calculated.
ONLINE                The City of Marshall utilizes Point & Pay as our online payment provider.  Beginning July 1st, 2016, there will be a 3% service fee ($2.00 Minimum) for those customers wishing to make a payment for a service using a debit or credit card  (No fee for E-check payments).  Point & Pay can be used to make a one-time payment or you may set up recurring payments (automatically pays your utility bill each month). You must first access your utility account by CLICKING HERE and entering your account number. Once you have accessed your account and reviewed the information, you just click on “MAKE ONLINE PAYMENT”. First time users will need to register (one-time only) and once you are registered you may make your payment either by E-check or by credit card. For information on how to make recurring payments CLICK HERE
