Motor pool is responsible for maintaining the city's fleet. They also purchase and dispose of used equipment. Equipment is disposed of through Public Surplus. The following link will take you to their site publicsurplus.com where you can create an account and bid on the equipment. All equipment can be viewed at the Department of Public works building located at 611 Homer Road. All questions regarding the condition of the equipment should be directed to Anthony Merringer, City Mechanic during normal business hours.
If you are a sales representative, staff asks that you schedule a time with the City Mechanic between 9:30 and 10:00 am to minimize work disruptions.
