The Marshall City Utility Billing Department is located on the 1st floor of Town Hall, in the Clerk-Treasurer’s office. The Utility Department is part of the Clerk-Treasurer’s office and is responsible for the administration, meter reading, billing and collection of all utility accounts. This includes the monthly billing of over 5000 electric, waste water and water accounts.  Ensuring proper receipting, recording, depositing, investing and distributing of all monies received by the City are further responsibilities.

For convenience to customers, electric utility payments may be paid online. Also, a drop box is located on the east side of Town Hall and in the door of the main entrance to the department where persons may leave payments after hours.

Attention Customers:  If you or someone living in your home is 65 years of age or older, please notify our office by calling 269-781-3967 or by indicating it on your utility bill when you make your payment.  According to the guidelines set by the State, eligible senior citizens may not be shut off for non-payment during the heating season.  In order to properly follow these guidelines, it is imperative our seniors are identified.:
