The Department of Planning & Zoning is usually the first stop for new developments within the City of Marshall. Reviewing site plans, handling special land uses, defining the zoning ordinance and codes for the public, and helping the community to grow in a well-planned manner are just a few of the functions of Planning & Zoning.
This office works directly with the Code Enforcement Officer, the Planning Commission, the Joint Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
